I live in Frankfort Kentucky and have been painting with Kaylina via online video for two months. Within two sessions my creativity was broken open. I had never allowed myself the time to play with paint. I wanted to, but it always ended up at the bottom of the list where it fell off the list completely. In a college studio class I took towards a landscape architecture degree I thought I wanted at the time, I was told I lacked "visual aptitude". Stick figures were the best I could do until I started Kaylina's class. I truly believe I am going through some kind of Creative Awakening experience. I'm painting, sculpting out of packing paper, writing, and staying awake with so many images and ideas that want to be born. I love everything I create and have no concern for others' opinions. Most importantly, I am playing, having fun, feeling so much joy! I love going to Sacred Space Painting Monday morning class every week! Kaylina offers a safe container in which to explore subconscious, intuitive aspects of one's inner self. She has really helped me express parts of myself that I "kind of" knew were there, and wasn't totally comfortable with. She encourages curiosity and self-acceptance in a very non- threatening manner, supporting use of color, shapes and whatever wants to be painted! I feel so grateful to be taking intuitive painting classes with Kaylina.
